With the Halloween season approaching, we find ourselves slowly steering towards the classic movies. Whether you celebrate Halloween or not, this season is rooted in the spooky feeling of watching a murder mystery, or maybe even a slasher. From the nightmare-inducing horror to the family comedy, there is a movie for anyone and everyone to get in the spooky spirit. We polled throughout the month of September to truly capture the movies that inspire FB Digital to get their fright on, here are the top 10.

Scream is just That Girl. The entire franchise (6 movies) spans across 1996 to 2023, and it never gets old and it always keeps you on your toes.

Whether Sarah Jessica Parker is strutting down Manhattan as Carrie Bradshaw, or as a Sanderson sister in Salem, Massachusetts this movie follows her,  Broadway sensation Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy as a coven of three sister witches who are up to no good.

Classic slasher movie, can’t go wrong with that. This movie truly revolutionized the Halloween business and still puts out costumes 40 years later.

8. The Exorcist

The Exorcist is still considered a cult classic 50 years later. Whether you believe it’s a true story or not, this movie will literally keep you up staring at your ceiling for a couple days….. Maybe weeks.

9. The Addams Family

Creepy, but not scary, and the perfect amount of unease. The Addams Family is the perfect movie to watch on a spooky rainy night with friends and family, and you might even get a good laugh in

10. Scooby-Doo

A cult classic, and something for the whole family. A live action telling on one of television’s most beloved characters. Perfect for the Halloween season …. Or any season.
