Making a Career Out of Social Media

 

In a new era of technology and social media, there are more online jobs than ever. Here are a few professional jobs that have come up due to the uprise of technology!

 

Brand Ambassador: Even if you are not looking for a full-time job, you can always be a brand ambassador. Representing the brand on your personal social media account, you promote the brand through events or through your online presence.

 

Social Media Strategist: These positions are centered around the publishing plan. They are focused on how to reach more people and how to grow as a company to spread their products/motive.

 

Content Manager: These people basically decide what should be created and published. They control every aspect of a brand’s social media such as websites, videos, and campaigns. As managers, they don’t exactly create the content, but delegate people to do so.

 

Blogger: Blogging is a freelance job that gives you the freedom to express your thoughts and ideas through writing. You could create your own website or work for another company. If you start your own blog, you can find companies to sponsor you and offer them advertisement space on your page.

 

Creative Director: This position is centered around the actual creative concepts behind the campaigns. Working with artists, designers and marketing, they organize social media campaigns for their company. These people are the the connecting unit between artists and the marketing team.

 

Brand Manager: These people have to make sure everything their team is producing is related to their brand. Ensuring that each post has the same diction and the same theme, they keep their brand together.
