    If you’re a teen and in need of some extra cash, check out these five jobs that cater to you. 

Retail

Jobs at the mall are fairly easy to attain. Most jobs require an age requirement of 16 and up, and most retail jobs have a flexible schedule which means you can still enjoy your summer vacation whilst having a few extra in the bank. It’s also a great first job to gain experience in what it’s like to have a job. 

Babysitting

Babysitting is all about connections and putting yourself out there to grab the attention of parents. Babysitting can be fun and easy to do! Ask your parents look around for someone they know who is need of a babysitter for a certain night or for a couple hours. Adding it all up, it can bring in a lot of cash.

Selling your used items

There are applications on both the app store and the google play store such depop, poshmark and letgo, where one can sell their used items such as clothes, books, accessories, furniture, etc. This will inevitably help the environment by reusing used items and not adding to landfills. It’ll also brighten someones day.

Camp coordinator

 If you love sports and fun activities then being a camp coordinator is a great idea for a summer job. You can arrange fun activities for the children and develop knowledge on handling children and parents. It’s also fun to be out in the sun and since you’d be active, as you’ll be running around, it’s great for exercise. Find a local camp and give back to the community!

Librarian

 

If you’d prefer a quieter setting than working as a librarian might be the right summer job for you. Reading stories for  kids and stocking up on the new novels from awe inspiring writers may be what you’ve been looking for. It’s great way to communicate with people and learn more. You can also get discounts as a worker for purchases made at your local library.
