I think we can all agree when I say that one of the best parts about fall is the fashion. It’s the season to play around with textures, layers, and so much more. This is the time to be warm and comfortable, yet chic. However, I highly recommend not to over-shop. Focus on items that work for everyday wear, but can also elevate an outfit. Instead of buying everything that you think you need, buy smaller amounts of clothing with a higher quality. So, whether you’re taking a stroll in the park, or simply going to work, here are five fashion staples you need that capture the essence of fall. 

1. TWEED JACKET – A classic that never goes out of style. Tweed is a wool-patterned fabric that will keep you warm while also making you look elegant. Even though they can be quite expensive, they are definitely an investment for the upcoming seasons.

2. LEATHER PANTS – If you want something flattering for your body but also want to look edgy, leather pants are the way to go. Even though these pants can be used for any season, for some reason they hit differently in autumn. You can pair them with anything and still look fashionable. 3. LOAFERS – This 90s trend is very in style this fall. Loafers have made their comeback this year, and I couldn’t be happier. These shoes are comfortable to walk in and can turn a basic outfit into an expensive one. You would imagine them to cost a lot, but in reality, multiple stores sell them for an affordable price and great quality.

4. WOOL TRENCH COAT- A lightweight coat is perfect for layering the perfect outfit. Trench coats, specifically wool trench coats, are amazing for those windy and cold days in fall. You can layer five sweaters underneath and look stylish without freezing to death.

A gold statement piece is crucial if you want to stand out this season. The best part is that these pieces are unique to you. They can be as funky and outlandish as you want them to be because they are meant to make you pop. Typically, they are very expensive but extremely worth it.
